About Us
The Prismatic Motorsports story begins with the world-changing events of 2020 and the growth of Sim Racing and Esports during the year as events were delayed.
Jamie Jessica Martin (Team Principal and one of the 4 co-owners of Prismatic Motorsports LTD) would seek friends to race with in the transgender and non-binary community she was a part of. In the end, after a post on the social media site Reddit and a planned but failed 24 Hours of Zolder Charity Race in the name of the UK charity ‘Mermaids’, the early beginnings of Prismatic Motorsports were formed.
Officially forming in March of 2021, Prismatic would run with the goals to provide a space for transgender and non-binary individuals to share their passion with those of similar life experiences, to elevate transgender and non-binary talent in Sim Racing, and to also advocate for greater inclusion of transgender and non-binary talent in Sim Racing and Esports.
2022 - A Year of Growth
Where 2021 was the beginnings of Prismatic Motorsports and our competitive efforts with teams running the Sim3D GT Series, 2022 was a year of key moments and greater strides into Sim Racing’s higher-end competition. Prismatic would be lucky enough to provide support to Kristina Ryan in her journey in the ENascar College Series, providing liveries, social media, and technical assistance for the #80 Ohio University Machine.
Such work would be followed by our continued entries and championship battles in the Sim 3D GT Series and would culminate in an entry into Season 1 of the British F4 Esports Championship run by Motorsport UK, with Mira Schmidt, Amber Iredale, Saoirse Fitzpatrick, and Bree Widner all representing the team during the season.
2023 - Big Breaks
The year would begin with members of the Prismatic Motorsports driver line-up and community flying to Las Vegas for ‘Screen to Speed’. With 7 drivers making the event and 5 forming the final, which would later be won by Saoirse Fitzpatrick and would be followed by Emily Howe, who would finish P2. Kristina Ryan, Olivia Hayward, and Roxie Gibson would finish P4, P6, and P8, respectively. Future Prismatic Driver Garnet Addams would finish in P9 in the final.
Saoirse would feature prominently on Esports news media in the wake of her Screen to Speed Triumph, winning $15,000 and getting to test drive a Porsche Cup Spec car around Las Vegas Motor Speedway later that year.
Prismatic would continue their ENascar College Series involvement with Kristina Ryan and the #80 Ohio University car in her 2nd season, and a return would be made to the British F4 Esports Championship for Season 2, with Saoirse Fitzpatrick getting the full-time seat alongside Rachel Konkoly.
2024 - Surging to the Mainstream
2024 would start with Prismatic Motorsports biggest fundraising event to date. The ‘Race for a Cause 24’ would be hosted on the 20th-21st April and would raise $1,753.15 for the charity Rainbow Railroad.
100+ drivers, 43 teams, and 1000 live viewers were involved in the race at Circuit De La Sarthe on iRacing.
Olivia Hayward would take her journey into the IndyCar Scene with 2 entries to the VCO IndyCar Challenge.
This would be followed later in the year by our 3rd season in the British Formula 4 Esports Championship with Saoirse Fitzpatrick and Olivia Hayward running against industry titans like Williams, Scuderia Ferrari, Alpine, Aston Martin, G2, BS+ Competition. Pushing transgender and non-binary individuals into the highest levels of competition.
